About the Owners

Knight's Automotive Repair–Peyton & Nancy

Peyton and Nancy Knight have owned their automotive repair business since 1983. They have 4 adult children, the youngest of whom has joined them in the family business. They live in Warren County.

Peyton is ASE certified with more than 40 years of experience in the automotive repair industry. He is a graduate of numerous advanced automotive training and technical schools as well as automotive management training. In addition he studied business at Morris County Community College.

Peyton is a member of the Consortium for Automotive Education (CAED). He is often a panelist on the Auto Lab Radio show which can be heard on Saturday mornings from 7:00 AM to 9:00 Am on WNYM Radio AM 970 (The Apple) or on streaming audio on The Auto Channel.

Peyton was past president and vice president of the Roxbury Kiwanis. He is a current member of the Roxbury NJ Area Chamber of Commerce.

Nancy holds a BS in Foods and Nutrition from Montclair University and multiple automotive training certificates. Prior to working in the automotive industry, Nancy was a director for a large corporate food service company. She is past vice-president and past president of the Roxbury NJ Area Chamber of Commerce. She currently serves as an ex-officio board member.

When not working, both Peyton and Nancy enjoy attending community events, entertaining, spending time with family and friends, working out, music, sports and taking in the many enjoyable leisure activities available in our area.

Matt Sleight

Matt Sleight has been working as an Automotive Technician for 7 years. He graduated from Universal Technical Institute with a degree in Automotive Technology with Ford Accelerated Certification Training. Matt has several ASE certifications and is working on becoming an ASE certified Master Technician. Matt is married to his wife, Denise, and they have one son, Dean. Matt’s hobbies include mountain biking, basketball, baseball, video games, and spending time with his family.

Rita Z. Schiedlo

Family: Recently married to Chris Schiedlo. We reside in Lake Hopatcong, NJ. I have two sons - Peter, a recent grad of Montclair State University; and Stephen, a junior at William Paterson.

Hobbies: In my free time, I like to work out, go kayaking on Lake Hopatcong, do some gardening and cook. I play softball in the summer on a women's league. I also walk daily with my dog Tucker, a 7 year old Hungarian Viszla.

Certification: MBA from NYIT, Marketing; ASE Certified Service Advisor

Cody Crawford

Family: Terri Crawford (wife), Ashley and Addi Hennings (stepdaughters)

Hobbies: Building cars, drag racing, off-roading, spending time with family

Years in the Business: 19 years

Certification: ASE Certified for brakes, suspension, alignment, electronics. engine performance and HUAC

Justin Knight

Family: Youngest son of Peyton & Nancy Knight brother to Peyton Jr. Miranda & Brandon

Hobbies: Attended Suffolk University in Boston and played short stop for the baseball team. I am currently playing in a men's softball league in Hackettstown, NJ. In my free time I enjoy hiking, kayaking and fishing, as well as snowboarding in the winter.

Sir MacPherson (dubbed "Mac" for short)

Family: Hailing from the Highlands in Scotland, Sir Mac is a very distant relative of the Knight's family. Mac is the eldest of four brothers. He attended university in Edinburgh.

Hobbies: Horseback riding and jousting when across the pond. Now that he's in the States, he is an avid golfer with an incredible short game, loves traveling, rugby, long drives in the country, football or as we call it - soccer (though Mac just purchased season tickets to the Rutgers Scarlet Knight's football program), world history, auto racing, photography and just enjoying the view wherever he may land.

Duties: Mac will be an integral part of our Public Relations efforts to educate our customers about vehicle safety and maintenance. Mac is very eager to meet as many of our customers as possible and has filled his calendar with photo ops at local high school sporting events, concerts, business openings, local town events and Roxbury Chamber of Commerce meetings. Never shy, Mac loves to tag along on any vacation or weekend adventure.

Public Appearances: Look for Mac at our shop, on our Website and Facebook pages doing all kinds of little things and getting into some trouble as he navigates a new job and a new country.
